GBU-31 2,000-pound Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) are staged in the hanger bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) for use by Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) aircraft conducting combat missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The JDAMs are using new BLU-117A/B warheads.
