Camp Croft, South Carolina
US Army Infantry Replacement Training Center |
HOME SITE INFORMATION HISTORY
|
This site was created
by Ron
Crawley, a resident of Spartanburg and member of the Spartanburg County
Historical Association, as well as a Camp Croft and military history
buff. Please send us an e-mail
with any information you have related to Croft which you would like to
see included on this site.
You may also sign our guestbook or review what others have said about the site. The Regional Museum of Spartanburg is very interested in adding to their collection of Croft and WWII equipment, uniforms, and memorabilia. If you have any items of interest and would like to consider donating or loaning them to the museum, please contact them at (864) 596-3501 or send an e-mail to the Spartanburg Historical Association. You can also visit their web site. For information on Croft State Park, which was created from a large portion of the original Camp Croft property, visit the SC State Parks web site. There are several web sites which describe the US Army Corps of Engineer's ordnance removal project. Use your favorite search engine (mine is http://www.google.com/) to find them using the criteria "Camp Croft." |
