I have nothing against immigration as long as its done through all the necessary legal channels, like it used to be. Any and all illegals in this country should be sent back home and told to go through their respective consuls for re-entry. If they have to wait, Oh well! And when they do get here, if they apply for American citizenship, then they have to assimilate themselves to OUR society and not demand that they be allowed to live according to the standards of their former countries. As The Fiddler said in "Roots", "You in 'merica now, Guinea Man!" and you had better get used to it. I just wish the politicians in this country had the balls to initiate a binding referendum to make English the national language before we become the new Tower of Babel. Speaking the same language will go a long way to uniting us as one people. It's either that or change the motto to E Pluribus, Pluribus!

"Right on!" Many of the illegal crossers consider the Estados Unidos (USA) nothing more than a northern adjunct to Mexico!

As far a shipping them back south, this is done several times a day (by the immigration Bus-Load)! These very same "Imi-Busses" are always passing right by my front door, when that is, large groups of "Wetbackus-Mexicanos" are not waltzing across the old back forty. Hell, they have even got the local coyotes and rattlesnakes intimidated, and our Border Patrol overwhelmed!

Some of the politicos (both sides of the border), however, applaud this invasion of bodies as just good international business? "Hell, these illegals may just vote for them someday", right after they find one of those brand new California Drivers Licences in a lucky box of Crakerjacks, or in the back pocket of some bleeding heart politico!?

"If the political system, on either side of the border, wanted to stem this illegal invasion, they could!!"

As far as legal channels, some of these people would not be allowed into their own bordellos on half-price day! And hey, for the record, many allowed in legally (Green Cards) do not work on the farms and ranches of the Imperial or San Joaquin Valleys, but rather huddle around places like the canyon created by Daniel's Creek, looking for menial jobs, exchanging stories, and occasionally (though rarely), even knifing each other over who gets the next sip of vino, cerveza or Cuervo Gold!

More and more, immigration (Border Patrol) is even picking up illegals at Lindberg Field, the International Airport here in San Diego, not too far from the border!

Clean shaven, haircuts, nicely washed, polite (or aloof), and in many cases, sporting new gringo-type clothing and sucking on a Coke or a Jack Daniels!

The ones with the peso$ blend in almost immediately, with the help (again) of bleeding hearts or some people out for a quick $$$$!

If it does get worse, then as you said, it's because our own government may be (?) up to it's ass-holes in it? If this is the case, and it "DOES NOT" for the most part, include our Border Agents (they are truly dedicated in most cases), what do you propose?

Again, "Massive, UNITED STATES WIDE perhaps (?), Recalls" is a good place to start, do you not agree?

But who would play the part of the Lone Ranger - Kofi Annon perhaps, Puttin (around), Chirac of The Large Crack, or Schroeder (or is that Shredder), maybe! Hey, maybe GW himself can take on the role - his daddy did (after all) tout "A New World Order", which in itself, could be a good or a bad thing, depending upon it's intended direction and final curtain call!
