Changing Our Flag?

In California, not only are there those who champion the move to issue "State Drivers Licences to Illegals", but now, there is even a game afoot, to wave all fees for illegals who want to attend California Community Colleges!? "A gift, I might add, not always shared by many of our own hard-pressed, locally born scholors!"

Hey, why not just change our flag too while you are at it, to one baring, not only "Stars & Stripes", but indeed, also a glorified buzard with a snake clutched in its talons! "I mean what the hell, in another decade, any illegal alien that can swim, climb or run, will already be here anyway!"

On one side of this issue we have our (often maligned) Border Patrol, attempting to do the dangerous job that they were hired to do! And on the other hand, some of our own politicians are wanting to handcuff our efforts, chastise our enforcement, and hand the State back over to Mexico - if even they will have it when a few are through?

Well sorry amigos, if you want California back, you are going to have to stand in line and fight the other imigrants (of other nations), who are often too busy to go through the hastle of become certified U.S. citizen! And many of them too, have designs on the Golden State, but some, when they are through with u$ (as a foreign motel owner once told me), intend to carry away their loot, kick us in the groin, and head back to their own home digs!

"Hell, what?s keeping them - If a few of them despise us so much, even as broke as I am, I will gladly pawn my old TV to kick in the first ten bucks to speed them on their way!"

And by the way, talk like this in defense of our sovereignty, our natural wonders, our ecenomy, our original laws and mandates, and even Americanism itself, will quickly get one labeled as a bigot, or worse, by those with their filth mitts buried deeply in vested pay-off money or political power plays! (opinion)

For you see, it is old hat to expect a few of those, who but a short time ago journey to our shores, to stay through bad times, as well as good, and "to give, as well as receive!"

To become loyal Americans, and not Asian Americans, Hispanic American, African Americans, or even Euro-Americans, is too much to ask of a scant few it seems! But like a few wandering gypsies, however, a few of these people now stay (only) through the main cour$e, but quickly head out the front door when it?s time to wash the dishes! (opinion)

Ya know, maybe being an ungrateful guest is human nature to some, but a guest who moves right in and then attempts to take over your home and dictate how you will live in that home, and this with the help of some of our own politicians, is no guest at all, but rather just a thief, a thug, and an interloper! (Yet another opinion)

This is our home, and if anyone wishes to make it their's too, they must roll up your sleeves, adopt most of our mandates, kick into the kitty, fight to preserve our nation when the need arrises (as many do), and most of all, do not rip and run!!

And even after you arrive, if you still consider yourself a ?Hyphenated-American?, and not an "American American", then maybe you are in the wrong place, at the wrong time?

Hardcore you have hit the proverbial "Nail on the Head" and I agree with you we as americans need to be just plain ole' AMERICANS again and take back our country before the special interest groups give it away like the Panama Canal.

If you discount Government owned assets, you might just be surprised (or is that shocked) to see just how much of our nation is controlled or owned outright by foreign enterprise. The only thing that we still own (almost totally) is the right to support and defend much of the planet! (opinion)

California is a lost cause. Possibly Arizona and Texas as well. If I lived there I would be planning an exit strategy post haste. Any state where ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS have any rights and privileges akin to those who have fought and died for the same privleges is gone and might as well become part of Mexico or Colombia. What incentive do these illegals have to follow any laws in the USA ? NONE.

Isn't it amazing that illegals now command rights that many of our veterans are not afforded. For a Vet to see a doctor can take up to six months! Whereas on a recent visit to the one of the major hospitals in the area a few months back, while I was bleeding profusely [internally], two illegals who could not speak English swore up a storm when the doctor called me in first. One had a sprained wrist, don't know what the other one was suffering from.

This scenario is unfortunately being played out on an hour by hour basis. If a Veteran or another Citizen is denied timely treatment, he or she has very few (if any) places to turn to for a remedy. Whereas one of those illegals that I mentioned earlier was on the phone complaining in Mexican to some agency, within minutes of arrival. Now you tell me who holds & wields the power and also who retains the keys to your rights!

Another incident took place at an Indian Clinic [who also owns a thriving casino], when in my presence a Tribal Leader demanded that Indian patients be seen before any one else, regardless of scope or severity of injury!?

It should also be noted the government money, that your money, pays most of the expenses at that clinic.

Right is Right, and Fair is Fair, but in my opinion, this is neither.

Well, if that is what Tribal leaders want, then they can just have it.

I intend to put myself where they and Hispanics aren't... and even there (as you point out) my chances of getting good care, or even care, are in exact proportion to the thickness of my wallet.

I've accepted that form of social Darwinism as inevitable, and plan to enjoy what part of life is left as best I can every day at a time.

What would it take for the Govt to spend more monies on Border Control, and sending these "People" back where they belong?

Like I have been saying, 87 billion bucks would go A LONG WAY here to take care of matters here, vice the Iraq and Iran thingamugig.............

Along with your funds, we can find a helluva lot more, if we could get the program implemented. And to do that!!!!!! There are many political hacks that should be subjected to what just transpired in CA. That will get their damn attention!!!!!!!
