What Do We All Fight For?

?Not all battles are fought with shot and powder!? There are the everyday conflicts that we all have to deal with, and then there are the extraordinary slug fests that are brought about because of systemic arrogance and the sense of godliness that has infected the core of our existence over the years. An arrogance that was created and enhanced by our own acceptance of, as Recon would put it, lords and masters, rather than representatives of the people?s will!

This arrogance is an infectious disease that is every bit as fatal to our way of life, as is any foreign war that we have engaged in over the past two plus centuries. And to infuriate matters even more, many of our wars were fought to eliminate the same evil that a few now seek to heap upon us at the local level!

Why is it that some people have to form power cliques within the system? Cliques are geared to exert their own vested agenda, take command, and demand control over rights that were paid for in blood, sweat and tears? And this agenda is not limited to the ?Federalites? alone, but indeed, stretches all the way down the line into local governments and petty stinking bureaucracies, even those who claim to represent this nation?s veterans!?

So what, pray tell, is an enemy of the people, if not a liar who slithers about, encapsulated within a false facade and operating under a false reason for existence? A title, after all, does not make a man - it takes honor, integrity, truth, and genuine patriotism to accomplish that, and in my opinion, these qualities are sorely lacking amidst far too many who are nestled deep within the catbird seat!!!!
