What we can do here for those that fight there

We all know that the news, especially from Iraq, has nearly all been about casualties and how the rest of the world hates us and wants us to go home. (with a noted exception for Liberia)

I copied and sent out this letter home that is posted here...

The overwhelming response from friends outside the military community was "we knew that" and "it would be great to hear more from the people there".

maybe our military can come home to more parades.

Please post more letters with the undertstanding that they will be sent out on the internet to people who, while they might not understand the "hearts and minds" philosophy of the Green Berets, want to know that we are there helping make the world a better place.
