Well kinda sorta - thats a political question and as much as I'd like to say to the contrary I will have to stick with the President for now saying we've gotta commitment to get this rascal and get to some kind of closure - I hope you all agree in part.

Why would you thing Bush is not worring about the current probelms in the USA. Just because Gore said it. I liked it a bunch when Bush landed on that aircraft carrier. I remeber when I was in Dominican Republic, Vice Pres Humphry came to town to vist. The 82 did a jump for him. Was nice to have the government back home know your out there.
I think Bush is doing both and more.

Am truly shocked that you would doubt anything that Gore told us. After all, wasn't it him that invented the Internet, created the Interstate Highway System, single-handedly wrote the Encyclopaedia Brittanica, and mentored Thomas Edison about making the first light bulb? All this from the man, who if he had his way, would probably put 95% of Detroit out of work by outlawing gas-burning autos? He's a has-been who hasn't had an original thought since he was weaned.

It would seem that Al is an answer to a question that no one is asking. His own party told him to go stand in the corner and shut up. I don?t know how Pres Bush spends his day and most likely Al doesn?t either. But I somehow doubt that the Pres is sitting around moaning and wringing his hands over the whereabouts of Saddam. I would expect he gets briefings on the larger issue of Iraq and no doubt Saddam gets a few words. So Reeb, I would just view what Al says as being part of the seasonal political blather and rhetoric and someone just filling the air with words, and stupid ones at that. And Col., wasn?t big Al that invented gravity, seems likely I?d say.

I could easily post 10 outrageous things that "Mr. Ozone" ( or was it "Ozone Man" ) ( as Daddy Bush called him in 1992 ), has said, but it is not worth the cyber-effort. He said he "invented" the Internet and meant it. His book ( "Earth In The Balance"... must have been co-ghost-written by Al Franken and Michael Moore... ) is a joke....His credibilty is below zero. 'Nuf Sed !!

Default Claim: Vice-President Al Gore claimed that he "invented" the Internet.

Nope not here. Al Gore was that "Fortunate Son" CCR sang about and I guess S.Vietnam wasn't too bad sitting in an airconditioned office typing up Army propaganda stories with a couple of Senator "Daddy" Gores bodyguards watching out for him so LBJ didn't have a senators son come home in a coffin .When Al talks at least you can tell he is still alive and hasn't took root yet
