Ah, the Great War and The War To End All Wars, etc., etc! Isn?t it grand to know that mankind has eliminated the ongoing need to blow each other into Hell!? There was no question about it, once we eliminated the ?Barbarians, the Conquerors, the Killer Kings, and the Despots, everything began to come up roses! (NOT!!)

For as long as mankind exists on Earth, it is he himself, who will be the biggest threat to survival, either directly or indirectly! If not by outright war, then by disease, greed, lust, insanity, stupidity or mounting apathy (opinion)!

When we disposed of the Axis in World War II, all envisioned a time of lasting peace and prosperity. It wasn?t long, however, before the vanquished arose anew and took up where they had left off!

Well, after round two, the air settled again, if but briefly, and the fruits ($$) of the (so-called) ?Golden Age? began to fall gently upon the heads of those who inhabited the (True) Promised Land (The Good Old United States)!!!

Then, all of a sudden, the impossible occurred! Upstart, Third World Nations, once thought of as mere jokes with delusions of grandeur, began to appear and tear at the fabric of democracy! The Koreas, the Vietnams, the Middle East, parts of the lower American Continents, other portions of Asia, and even the Dark Continent itself, began to again bring threats of violence and new diseases (including terrorism) to our way of life.

"And this violence (I might add) even found it?s way, right into Downtown America Itself!? (9/11/01 etc)

?But not to worry right?? I mean, who after all (in their right minds), could ever possible think that they stood a chance up against our Uncle Sam and his ?Massive, World Shattering Weaponry?, our ?Awesome Industrial Complex? (much of which has split the scene), or our ?Everlasting Quest For Eternal Peace and Serenity!?

Yes indeed, we were finally at peace with all of mankind, but most of this (so-called) peace, however, was paid for by "Stripped Away U.S. Tax Dollars", sent to support a blackmailing entourage of earthly con-men, bleeding hearts and maniacs!!

And as for our veterans (Past, Present and Future), there is certainly nothing to concern yourself about here, now is there?! No veteran will ever go hungry or homeless, and none will ever again do without medical care or compensation for service-connected ailments - ?You just ask the Powers That Be!!? If, that is, you can catch them when their mouths are not crammed with escargot or bullshit, or they are not immobile as a result of carrying around all of that special interest money, or their backs are not strained from bending over (deeply) for some treacherous world entity, the UN and NATO included!

Ah, but the nation owes our veterans and our people nothing, right? I mean: ?Ask not what your country can do for you, and all of that good stuff!?

Well, if it all ended there with the broken promises, lies and betrayals, that would be one thing? But you see, the abandonment of many of our veterans, the hard-pressed American worker, the poor, the ill and the elderly (especially at a time when many charities, bureaucracies and political agendas are falling suspect), is not acceptable to most of us (I Hope)?!

Now add to this, our deteriorating economy, and the billions ($$$$) of dollars that are still flowing over the ?Big Ponds? to people who would just as soon shoot us as look at us, and you just may discover that further insult is constantly being heaped upon our mounting, politically-induced misery!

And no, this is not a partisan bitch, as I would decry any political party (or individual) that screwed over ?Our American People" - top to bottom, left to right, rich, middle class and poor alike (all equal in the eyes of God, if not mankind and governments)!

?Nor am I trying to pick upon any of those tender-hearted (?) political babies, who apparently have such a hard time existing upon the fortunes that they garner as salaries and other benefits!!? Rather, I am hoping to dig up what common sense and compassion they may (or may not) have left!

?This is America, and our needs, paid for with our money, must come first!? After all, are not the true masters of this United States Government - ?The People Who Elect & Support It Themselves!!?

?Rarely in the history of American Men and Women (all 227 years of it), have all of the people (apparently) been fooled, all of the time - until now that is!?? (opinion)
