Question A Potentially Deadly Conflict Of Opinions?

OPINION - according to Webster means: ?A conclusion or judgment held with confidence, the falling short of positive knowledge!?

OPINIONATED - ?Obstinately attached to one?s own opinion!?
------------------------------------------------

There is apparently - ?No meeting of the minds in Iraq?, at least if you subscribe to the "Political/Media Interpretations" of what is genuinely going on within that region?

According to the ?Self-Appointed Sages of Media/Battlefront Tactics", a variance exists as to the intended duration of the conflict within the Middle East? And as a matter of fact, even a retired Navy Seal was recently utilized as "Yet Another - Media-fought, Situation Expert!?

According to this crystal gazer, the majority of the enemy combatants, those now opposing us in that neck of the woods, are of Saudi and Syrian extraction? And as such, or so he implied, the conflict could soon expand into Syria (Al-Jumhuria-al-Arabia-al-Suria) and other Diehard Bastions of Terrorism - "So what else is new?" (The whole idea from the start I suspect?)

?If this is true, then in my opinion, this War could indeed drag on all over the Middle East - infinitum?? And if the current decline in pubic sentiment as concerns this endeavor continues in the same direction, then any thoughts of expansion of hostilities, at least the way that this War is now being waged, just may be politically suicidal! (another opinion) "Yet another reason why some are pushing for the revitalization of the draft perhaps?"

The bottom line here is: ?When you fight a war (any war) by the other guy?s rules, and in his own back yard, you have an uphill battle on your hands. And no politician has ever prevailed in combat with only diplomacy and bull shit as his (or her) primary weapons!"

Getting back to Iraq, and depending on who you believe, our man in charge in that region (militarily) is saying that the insurgency is gaining steam, whereas, a highly placed ?Spin-Meister? amidst the ?Curent Powers That Be? is insisting that this insurgency in Iraq is in it?s death throes? ?Alas, both of these ?Men of Honor? can not be correct at the same time! ?Either the action in the Middle East is winding down, or it is gaining in momentum - ?SO WHICH IS IT??

?And while all of this is going on, our gallant forces in the field continue to perform magnificently?, even if the right hand of those in power, appears to know not what the left is doing!??
