![]() For over a year now, I have heard the oil companies crying the blues over what they claimed were the multiple reasons for this statutory rape of the American consumer! If it wasn?t the Arabs, and it wasn?t refineries, and it wasn?t busted equipment, then it was Mother Nature Herself that was busting the balls of ?Big Oil! The poor babies of ?Big Oil?, all the way from the well heads, down to the corner gas jockey, lamented furiously that they were not to blame, and that they too, were suffering from these unfortunate occurrences! Well, lo and behold, an article out of the Associated Press has just shed a little honest illumination on this subject. A light of truth that proves that all of the feeble excuses in the world can not cover the stench of profiteering, nor the lies of Big Oil! It seems that three of the biggest oil companies turned in a profit of over $22 Billion Dollars in just the quarter that stretched from July to September of this year! And for the record, at least according to Senator Grassley of Iowa, the 29 major gas companies stand to rake in a whopping $96 Billion Dollars in profits this year alone! ?I can not help but wonder how many American lives may be forfeited to keep these oil soaked ass-holes fat and sassy?? (opinion) The Senator (Grassley) has attempted to tug on the heart-strings of the oil industry by pointing out to them that they have a responsibility to help less fortunate Americans cope with the high cost of heating fuels! The same heating fuels and gasoline, I suppose, that caused the industry to claim fuel shortages and a myriad of other lame excuses, to literally murder (financially) millions of loyal and patriotic Americans and companies that rely on gasoline to survive, and that is nearly all of us! Well the bottom line is simple indeed, at least in my opinion! With all of the excuses that the stuffed shirts of oil have laid upon us, as well as their insistence that they too were feeling the heat, it still did not stop these oil moguls from turning in record profits. ?In my opinion, however, the only real heat that these bums should be subjected to is the heat from the boilers at the federal penitentiary!? All too often in our history, stretching all the way back to the Robber Barons of the late nineteenth century, we have allowed money hungry scum to grow fat ($$) at the expense an lives of the people, without whom these cretins would be selling apples on street corners, or peddling their ass in some back alley! ?Again, these are but my own personal opinions!? ![]() Hardcore agree. The CEOS" of the big oil companies are definetly going to get some nice fat bonuses for the profits they earned. I have looked up some of the bonuses that these CEOS' get and they are anywhere from $4 million to $6 million dollars cash plus incentives.

![]() Robert - I wonder if most people realize that these oil company bonuses are (in most cases), many times what the average person makes in an entire lifetime of hard labor? And who pays for these monumental bonus' - the guys getting screwed at the pumps!
