Your book is wrong , Bud.
all correct except . "The first word spoken from the moon, July 20, 1969 was "Houston.."

Contact was the first word spoken on the moon.

It went , "Contact right, engine shut down sequence begin, Houston, Tranquility base hear, The eagle has landed."

Ron

Perhaps the proper phrasing should be;

He was talking to houston, He was giving number of feet to the ground just before that.
The first word spoken on the moon, or to anyone including Houston was Contact.

The flag looks like the Texas flag but its Chile flag

RR,

St. Mike - one things for sure in Texas its big and takes forever to drive through. It has all four seasons and it's Eastern section is green and hardly looks like Texas. San Antonio now that's Texas.
Houston (hate it) Dallas OK - others don't know as well but I do like many areas of the state. Brother lives in Mosquite, Tx just outside of Dallas. Home of Lone Star beer - had many a good day in Texas. Great folks.

I love my state but I can't wait to live a certain somewhere else.

We are rather cocky about it but its not our fault the state is like it is.

Boats, I hate Houston too, thats a pain in the butt kind of city. I love San Antonio but mostly the hill country to the north of there. The area of the state I live in is kind of eck. Nothing much here really except I-40, Big Texan steak place and caddilac ranch. OH and Oprah was sued here...wooooo.
