AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter gunships of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367, based at Marine Corps Air Station, Camp Pendleton, Calif., made history over Okinawa, Japan, where the squadron known as "Scarface" is deployed, by completing 40,000 mishap-free flight hours on Sept. 1, 2000.
