The Military Sealift Command ship USNS Concord (T-AFS 5) pulls alongside Kitty Hawk in preparation for an underway replenishment (UNREP) evolution. Despite high seas and heavy winds, both vessels maneuver carefully to get into proper position to transport cargo, supplies, and combat stores. Kitty Hawk is the Navy?s only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier and operates out of Yokosuka, Japan. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer?s Mate Airman Recruit Sean M. O?Leary.
