Overview: After completing his mission at the border of Scotland, Lord Montagu marched south and engaged the Lancastrian forces at Hexham. His army rapidly charged downhill and crushed the Lancastrian forces. The Lancastrian leaders were executed ending most of the Lancastrian resistance.
