Tillamook (American Motor Boat, 1911)

Tillamook, a 58-foot motor pleasure boat, was built at Port Clinton, Ohio, in 1911. She was acquired by the Navy in May 1917 and placed in commission in early June of that year as USS Tillamook (SP-269), a name changed to SP-269 in 1918. The craft was employed for patrol work on the Great Lakes for the remainder of World War I and for some months after the Armistice ended the fighting. She was sold in November 1919.
