Coalition forces launched Operation Warrior in Mahmudiyah which was a cordon and search operation targeting specific individuals. Troops were to capture or kill Farhan and Sofi Sinjar, Abu Akmed, Abu Farka and any others suspected of anti-coalition activities. The operation netted 18 individuals including four target individuals as well as miscellaneous arms and munitions.
