Task Force Eagle Camps
Task Force Eagle restructuring began in August 1996. It involved the replacement of two armored battalions and an artillery battalion with two military police battalions and two combat heavy engineer battalions. Camp Alicia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, was occupied by soldiers of the 16th Engineer Battalion from Bamberg, Germany, and other supporting units during Operation Joint Endeavor. The last 1St Armored Division unit left Bosnia-Herzegovina on 01 December 1996. Task Force Eagle Base Camp Linda closed 02 November 1996. Task Force Eagle Base Camp Walker closed 18 November 1996. Task Force Eagle Base Camp Gentry closed 22 November 1996. Task Force Eagle Base Camp Molly closed 23 November 1996. Task Force Eagle Base Camp Angela closed 30 November 1996. TF Eagle Base Camp Stevens closed 08 December 1996. And TF Eagle Base Camp Kime closed 09 December 1996.
