The question is too general. Utilize members means what? This is a new one on me.

I changed the wording a bit. What is being asked is what direction would the membership like to see the site take to benefit its members.

There is a tremendous talent, knowlege and experience in The Patriot Files membership. We have years in dealing with the Armed Forces, the Federal Government bureaucracy and the VA. Yet, for the most part, we remain silent to veterans concerns and take whatever is dished out.

The Patriot Files can and should be quite capable of being an advocate for those concerns. We already have several members that post in the forum section about current legislative efforts. As the site grows we should be able to ask the bureaucrat to "stop in" for an open chat with our membership. I am convinced that the world wide web can be a powerful voice of the public that should expect to be listened to. Since The Patriot Files is a totally non-commercial site and privately owned, it cannot be accused of serving anyone but its own membership. Ain't nobody being paid here.

That being said, it becomes up to the membership as to what they want their site to accomplish for them. I am not advocating that every member roll up their sleeves and go to work for the site. There are those of us that are more than willing to do that, 'course, we won't turn you away if you offer either. All that is needed from the membership is direction and after that direction is delivered, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Too bad radio buttons are always restricted to just one choice...... there are several listed which seem interrelated and like good ideas, albeit ideas which would required a LOT of time in continued implementation.
Keep up the good work, David!

Not only invite, but have congressional leaders made aware of our comments.
