Seems like the pay is different already (combat, flight, per diem etc.)...but what would REALLY be nice is if the government would live up to its countless promises and assurances about Vet's medical care, fer crissakes!!!! Leave us not forget that one major reason our nation HAD a constitutional convention to start with is that the dang government had not yet paid the soldiers who won that ground for them!!!! The fact that those fellas saw fit to throw out a perfectly good Articles of Confederation so as to issue some paychecks is a whole other topic... (but NOT unrelated).

I think that as far as grade goes that the pay should be the same. I also think that incentive pay should be the same government wide. Let's face it $100 a month to jump from planes isn't that much.

I voted yes, but I do know that some jobs require special education, time served, combat, etc. should still be used to give those in special jobs an insentive to stay in the military. Its kinda a yes / no answer.
