Seems to me that even from what comparitively little I know of military battle history says that this is precisely what many a suprisingly victorious assailant does, eh?
The only thing I can imagine is that they ain't telling us or anyone what ELSE they're doing, what they are keeping in reserve, things like that? If the likely enemy KNOWS up front what our plan is, then all they need to do is execute a counter-measure, no?
NO. Fro some reason since the defeat of Adolf and the Japanese America has allowed its defenders only to be on the Defensive team. In a football game it's not the defensive line that gets the ball to the goal line, it's the offensive team who's sole mission is to put points on the board.
Korea we allowed the country to be divided at the 38th parrallel and had to station our nations forces to be aligned with United Nations forces bellow that line and the Korean people to worry about what China might throw at them ever since.
The Democratic Republic of South Vietnam no longer exist. The American hippies demanded that we leave that nation and the day after we left Siagon was no more and the defenders of that Democratic Republic were murdered in the streets of Ho-Chi-Mihn city. We lost.
Today America has its forces in the middle east "Defending," and dieing while a man who never in his life said "Yes Sir" after a salute to that officer and demands that He be saluted instead.
Why can we not allow our nations defenders to WIN?
Why can we not allow our nations defenders beat our nations enemies?
We won the last time America was on the Offensive Line and both Europe and Japan are free today.
We gave a good part of Korea away and we GAVE Vietnam away. The Offense won the game.
In a football game it is NOT the defensive line that carries the ball accrost the goal line. It's the offense who's sole purpose is to put the points on the board.
Why does America not fight with its trained offensive line.
It hasn't been since WW2 that the Commander and Chief has allowed our defenders to win the game and today Europe and Japan choose their own destiny.
Korea we defended and because we only defended that nation is divided at the 38th parrallel and the people on the south have to worry what the Armies of the North will do tomorrow.
The Democratic Republic of South Vietnam no longer exist. The day after America left that nation its capital city was wiped off the map and HoChiMihn took its place while the defenders of the Democratic where murdered in the streets. We lost. We not only lost the war we also lost what the rulers of the world once took for granted America stood for.
We defend Iraq, we defend Afghanistan and the offense has hold in other nations while America prepares to throw the game. Heck we even tell them when they can go on the offense so today they can lock and load up for that day.
Heck, even the most powerful Commanding Officer on the globe never once said, "Yes Drill Sargeant!"
