Sappers in the Wire

The LIfe and Death of Firebase Mary Ann by Keith William Nolan. pp.287 ISBN 0-671-00254-6.

FSB Mary Ann was manned by the "Professionals" of 1/46 23rd ID "Americal" in March, 1971. They let their guard down and was overrun by a VC Sapper Btn on the night of 27-28 March, 1971. 30 men died and scores of others were wounded.

Keith Nolan is very graphical in this book that holds the reader's attention from start to finish.
