Military Quotes

Anyone who has ever looked into the glazed eyes of a soldier dying on the battlefield will think hard before starting a war.

-- Otto Von Bismarck

The Battle for Hue Tet '68

Author: Keith William Nolan
ISBN: 0-440-10407-6 pp. 284

The Marines and MACV fight the NVA and the VC for the city of Hue. Heavy support was denied because of the ancient historical buildings in the city. Terrible attrocities were inflicted upon the citizens of Hue by the VC and NVA.

Keith Nolan's style of storytelling makes the reader feel as if he were there with the grunts.

This is a very good book!
